What’s a typical day like?

A customer urgently needs specialty tooling to keep a critical job on schedule. Normally it takes two weeks—but this time, the ask is one.

Materials are available, priorities shift, and you’re asked to support the effort on the shop floor. It’s a busy morning, and flexibility matters.

You review the routing, check setup requirements, and step in where you’re cross-trained. As production starts, you notice a routing detail that needs an update. You make the change and flag it to Engineering and the CNC Programmer.

Throughout the day, you help with setups, cover machines during peak demand, and work alongside machinists to keep things moving.

Over the next few days, you continue supporting the run, updating documentation, assisting with changes, and helping ensure the order stays on track. The job ships early, the customer stays on schedule, and the shop moves on to the next priority.

Every day, you’ll do work that matters. You’ll be supporting shop operations that help customers overcome their toughest challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician. Do you have what it takes?

  • Mechanical Aptitude: You’re comfortable working with machining tools and equipment, using them with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Education: A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required, and additional technical training or apprenticeship is a plus.
  • Experience: You bring 5+ years in machining, including CNC programming, blueprint reading, precision measuring, and a solid grasp of machining processes, materials, quality, and safety.
  • Location: You live within 45 minutes of Dayton, OH.
