- Collaboration: Report quality issues to the Quality Manager and support cross-training in related functions.
What’s a typical day like?
A customer’s production line is down — every hour costs them $100,000 or more. They need specialty tooling today. Assembly calls you at 4:30 PM: parts are in stock for a condenser expander, but they don’t fit. UPS picks up at 5:30 PM. You retrieve the parts, quickly verify they’re out of tolerance, and work directly with a machinist to bring them back within spec. You return the parts to Assembly, they finish the build, and everything ships the same day. The customer is back up and running the next morning — and calls in to say so. The Quality Manager personally thanks you. That customer starts referring colleagues to Elliott. At Elliott, your work doesn’t just pass inspection — it keeps industries moving.
