What You’ll Do:

  • Setting and tracking sales targets.
  • Achieving those targets by meeting behavior and outcome goals in line with world-class training, sales systems, and techniques.
  • Driving sales growth by winning enterprise and key accounts.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and managing sales channels.
  • Working cross-functionally with others to solve customer challenges.
  • Leading customer retention and customer referral actions.

What’s a typical day like?

At Elliott Tool, Area Sales Managers are trusted to build long-term relationships and drive strategic growth—not just chase transactions. With a strong support team behind you, you’re free to focus on high-impact sales activities that move the business forward.

Your day starts by reviewing your CRM dashboard, which prioritizes key opportunities. Today, you’re focused on expanding a major account where we’ve already proven success at two sites. You reference a similar win—like the $60K savings we delivered to a similar customer—and secure an invite to their upcoming leadership meeting to explore broader opportunities.

Next, you shift to distributor development. You’re targeting a new growth market and reach out to five potential partners. By day’s end, two are interested enough to schedule in-depth conversations. You align on expectations, build agendas, and prep for market visits.

Every day includes a mix of strategic outreach, consultative selling, and collaborative planning. You’re sharing real customer success stories, uncovering pain points, and helping customers solve complex challenges with industry-leading tools.

At quarter’s end, the results speak for themselves: new revenue, deeper relationships, and real impact—like helping a customer cut expansion time in half or setting up a distributor poised to add $300K in sales.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish): You possess native or professional proficiency for effective multicultural communication and customer engagement. • Goal-Oriented: You set clear targets, follow through, and push for growth.
  • Sales-Focused: You love sales and follow proven processes.
  • Team Player: Confident yet humble—you share credit and stay focused on results. Eager to Learn: You seek feedback and continuously improve.
  • Mechanically Inclined: You grasp how mechanical systems work and can interpret technical data.
  • Industrial Experience: You thrive in fast-paced, mission-critical environments (preferred).
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Travel Requirements: Domestic and International travel up to 30%.
  • Locally Based: You live within commuting distance of Texas City, TX.
