The diagram above depicts four stages of rolling a tube into a fitting. Each step shows the progression of the tube filling the serrations, which could be created with the Elliott Recessing Tools. The cold working of the tube joint will increase the tensile strength of the tubing, resulting in a stronger joint than the original materials used.
